Ok, with elections coming up soon, I'm trying to find good resources for checking out and learning about candidates. Trying to figure out what they stand for, how they can be expected to vote on issues that concern me, how they've voted in the past, etc. The 2nd amendment and gun rights is not the only issue of concern but given the forum we're on its definitely of interest to me. Does anyone have any good resources or links that might be useful (at local, state and national levels) to help sort through the bs and spin to get at the real info.

Also is factcheck.org really unbiased or do they have an underlying agenda or bias?

Thanks everyone

Look at where they came from. Do they have a voting record? Type in google their name, the position they hold/held, and voting record.

Go to their website, and look around. Listen to their speeches.

factcheck.org is run by liberals like a false flag. They come as being impartial but are not at all. Its run by the Annenburg Challenge in which Obama and Bill Ayers were on the board of.

Thanks Bill for the urls. I was also interested in seeing the supported candidates from the tea party. I googled but couldn't find anything solid. Anyone know a good source?
