I really like the ATS M4 modular but im looking for something exactly the same but with 8 individual magazine slots instead of just 4. I found the one below but the guy said it was a custom made piece. Any idea if someone mass produces the same product

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b395/gotboost2jz/dualM4modularharness03-vi.jpg

I know that worse comes to worse I could add magazine pouches to the molle on the ATS unit but I would like to add other pieces to the front (pistol mags, utility pouch, admin) and would prefer not to do two layers of detachable accessories. Thanks all for the help

JIC Mr Wills monitors these boards...

Based on reputation alone, from other Soldiers & PMC professionals word-of-mouth, I will never purchase anything from you/"OSOE".
Word of mouth is everything, especially in the military community, and yours Sir, is severely lacking. Two years and hundreds of dollars for a belt, chest rig ect is unacceptable, and Mr Wills, you should be ashamed.
For the most part,Soldiers dont make big bucks-I know I dont-so when they choose to buy something "Private Purchase",it is a major decision, and there are so many companies out there currently,(BFG,TT,Paraclete ect) who CARE about their customers AND customer service/satisfaction, that OSOE and your ridiculous prices and wait times should not even be considered.

Mr Wills,I know you think that it is probably no big deal, and I am just one person, but if because of your reputation for screwing people has (Check LF forums as well for MANY cases of non-delivery of goods) influenced one person who took the time to post-how many others do you think may have the same thought?
With all the "tactical gear" companies out there, making top-notch stuff, for the same or lower $$, I hope it is not long until you no longer have a business, and a means to rip Soldiers off. You are not the only game in town anymore, and I (and others, rest assured) will not gamble my money on a possibility of a product ever being sent to me,and I will encourage others to do the same whenever and where ever I am able to do so.

Worth every penny.

let me add to this. i was there when these were being designed. you would not imagine the process and/or the detail put into this rig. add in the smoke loops on the bottom and this rig is unbeatable.

This rig will fit US Palm mags, bullets down; standard ak mags (20 and 30 round) bullets down, and every type of m4 magazine you can imagine.

Plenty of pals to add whatever else you want to it.

IMO I like the 6 mag stacked a little bit more. It's just >the right size< and can hold an individual sized tear off ifak on one side and a two mag pistol pouch on the other.

i'm locking this thread for now.
38B4Pguy - i'm assuming from your post you have not received gear that you paid for? if this is correct, and john willis, if you read this, please contact the gentleman about his issue, either through a PM on this board, or shoot me an email at militarymorons@gmail.com and i will forward it to 38B4Pguy.

i've re-opened this thread so that folks can help the OP out if they have information to share.

do not turn this thread into a 'i never got my gear from OSOE' thread. 38B4Pguy has posted his personal experience, but we don't need anyone else chiming in saying that 'i ordered from OSOE and got my stuff in a week' or 'i never got my stuff'.

calicojack - if you're in contact with john, please have him respond, or help these guys get in contact with him to resolve their issues.

I currently have a 6 wide single stack rig. Looking to go less wide and more on top. I'd even be cool with a 3x2 system but still prefer 4x2. I am mil b.t.w. but this is for personal training. My job doesnt require any gear like this. Just wrenches and coveralls for crewing jets.

Also, thank you militarymoron for reopening the thread :)

MM,
John has been made aware of the thread, what was said by the poster, and the info i pm'ed the poster (i can foward that to you if you'd like.) he said this AM that he would be calling you at some point today.

GotBoost,
i won't stray out of my lane other than to tell you that OSOE currently has a 4x2 micro rig that includes a tear off individual ifak on it as well. I'll get you a link soon. There are others that I would say take a look at, but frankly, i'm in pain atm, and need to medicate. i'll get you some more info as soon as i'm lucid enough to do so.

Boy did I open a can of worms or what?

GetBoost (or anyone else) if you are interested in O.S.O.E. but are concerned about dealing directly with John Willis than you should take a look at Tactical Response Gear, they carry an extensive collection of O.S.O.E. gear and if it on their web site that means it is in-stock and ready for delivery.
http://www.tacticalresponsegear.com/catalog/index.php?manufacturers_id=58&osCsid=6b7ee060aa39342aaa9ff37b501edbad

They currently do not have in-stock the 8 Mag Stacked Chest Rig that I posted above but here’s another on you might be interest in,
Original S.O.E. - 6 Mag Stacked Chest Rig:
http://www.tacticalresponsegear.com/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=58&products_id=4320

Trust me when I tell you this gear is second to none.

MM, I too will pass your request on to John.

They def look nice and they're the closest to what i'm looking for but I cant justify 250-300$ on a rig when there's equally good options for half that price.

Believe me, if there was gear out there that is equally good for half that price I’d be getting it. There are certainly cheaper options but few are built to the same hard use tough standards.

I'm with calicojack, I'd be interested in seeing what you go with.

i guess i shouldnt say equally good because I honestly don't know if that is true or not. my apologies.
just curious, what is the general opinion on ATS?

SBushong

The general opinion on ATS, at least in my social circle, is that they produce quality, well thought out gear. I would have no reservations about purchasing any of their gear.

I use an OSOE rig most of the time. They are great rigs, if a little overpriced. If any of the responses to this thread have spooked you on delivery time, you can order from Tatical Response or OP Tactical. Both are OSOE dealers and great to do business with.

Interesting I did not know that. Must have happened with the last year or so, huh? IIRC they carried alot of TAG stuff.

Great gear IME. I've used a number of their items with no issues. I'm a huge fan of their shorty M4 pouches.

yeah those look really nice but I was concerned about how well they hold a magazine under running/jumping/crawling conditions. Any experience with that?
