The past few days have been hit and miss with getting on this site, what's going on?

I've also noticed, the "new posts" page/search is incomplete or not updated. The main page fails to show updated thread posts.

Just tried to post a reply and a I get this "m4carbine.net is incurring a data base error" nonsense. We need a techy shooter to clear the cookies as they say!

Same here. Seems like the system has converted to SAS (Slow As Shit). No issues longing on and have also experience "date base error" when trying to post.

There have been been problems for me for about a month, but it has gotten progressively worse.

Each time I make today it tells me there is a data base error. Then I try and repost and get a double post.

Multiple threads are indicating no recent posts but if you hit "quote" on the last post and scroll down on the reply page there are multiple more recent posts which are not showing up on the main thread. I started noticing this yesterday afternoon but it seems hit and miss (i.e. some threads are posting new replies while others have replies stranded in the ether).

Yes I started noticing issues yesterday (Saturday) afternoon as well.

We had this same problem including database errors on posting, the various forum indexes not being updated, no email notifcations, etc a few weeks ago as well.

This is the first time it has affected me, though I remember others talking about it a few weeks back as you mentioned. Is this something that happens with any degree of regularity?

Is it weird that none of the site admin has chimed in with an answer?

We are aware of the issue and hope to have it resolved shortly.

This is the only mention of it I've seen...

We are experiencing some growing pains as the forum increases in size.

In the coming week, we will be doing some DB optimization (which should fix the current issues).

We apologize for any inconvenience .

Will posting history ie the subscription to new threads be lost or some how updated?

Looks like things might be fixed. My post count moved for the first time in over a day with my last post and there was not error message following the post. :D

Irish,

Have you cleared your history and cookies? That might be doing something funny.
