The BFH BBL is said to give you longer BBL life. That is why I've gone that route on two of my uppers.
What is the difference between 11595E barrel steel and 4150 barrel steel (assuming both will be hammer forged when the barrel is made)?

I would like to know too. Is it simply 11595E is mil spec?
From what I nderstand MIL-B-11595E steel is essentially 4150 but with a specific chemical composition at specific % ranges.
Here's a link to a thread that discusses the whole spec in detail.

Though BCM indicates that the BFH isn't the best choice unless you're putting ten cases through it per year, with that minimal a price difference the hammer forged version is a great value.
