What buffer would you run for a 12.5 BCM upper? Would an H3 be too much or would an H2 be better? Gun will be suppressed every so often.

I would start with the H2, which is what I use in mine. Depending on the can and ammo, you might be able to use the H3.

I use a BCM H buffer in my BCM 12.5" SBR. Mine does have an optimized gas port (optimized = small). With a BattleComp recoil is very manageable and soft.

I had to use an H2 for reliable lock back. It still functioned suppressed and unsuppressed with an H. I am getting ready to try an H3 in the next couple of days.

D'oh! Just order my barrel from BCM (stamp came in ) and forgot to add an H2 to the order.

We are going to be cutting this build close! Just got the stamp, lower is on its way back to me from Ident, barrel ordered, and 5320.20 submitted and pending. Need this to be built and a few hundred rounds down range before Nov 8th, headed to TN for my second EAG class. I have a backup if it doesn't work out.
