First time posting, but I have been reading a lot on this forum, Thanks for all the great info here on M4C, but now I have a question.......

Anyone running a 14 inch DD lite rail on a 14.5 inch barrel, I'm considering using one on a build but have some questions.

How would it look?/How much of the flash hider would be covered, if any?

How would it feel, coming up on a target, or transitioning from target to target?

Or should I just stick with a 12 inch rail for my 14.5 inch barrel?

I like that it would give me a longer sight radius, and I can get a used one from a friend for a good price.

Any pictures would be great
Thanks for your comments

I think it would look good, it wont limit your options for a flash hider but will for a sound suppressor.

I have every item you are considering just not put together the way you a thinking. I have a 14.5" with a 12.0 Lite rail and an 18" with a 14.0 Lite rail but I do have what you are looking for with a 10.5" barrel and the 10.0 Lite rail.

Here are the pics of a 10.5" LMT barrel with a 10.0 DD Lite rail should be the same delta of 0.5" as you would have with a 14.5" barrel and 14.0 rail.

Thanks for the pics, I'm not worried about a suppressor, and will be using the Battle Comp 1.5 when it comes out/ or is it out yet? I don't see it on there website.

I've been curious about using the 14" rail on a 14.5" barrel. I've read that people say its too front heavy.

But let me know!

I found it to be too front heavy form my liking. I have short arms so the rail-estate was wasted on me. Unless you have long arms, this is a dumb idea.
