There is a good tribute to SrA Forester by one of his friends. If interested, it can be found here: Tribute to an American Hero - Mark Forester (http://www.michaelthemaven.com/?postID=1586&tribute-to-an-american-hero-mark-forester).

RIP.

CCT's and PJ's are some of the toughest / bravest guys out there.

Awful....., downright awful. I was good till I saw the photo of him hours prior to the attack with his fellow warriors taking a rest.

My family is thinking about his family. And, ......thank you for giving us your son to protect us. RIP

I can't stand to hear of ANY American killed at the hands of these sons of bitches but when I see men like this taken, call me inhumane but it really makes me wish we could just nuke that damn country.

RIP warrior. Never be forgotten.

Indeed, they are brave, dedicated professionals.

I have a book called "Danger Close", that describes their operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. It's very educational about what these gentlemen pull off.

Prayers and sympathy for their family, friends and fellow warriors.

I am sad to see this, and I keep wondering if the post-McChrystal ROE have made things any safer for the men on the ground.

Nope. I have a few friends that are TACP, and you should hear the stories they tell.
