This like new rifle is for FTF (face to face) for $990 cash in Houston, Texas. I will not ship it in Texas, or anywhere else for that matter. If you want to buy it you will need to come pick it up in the FM1960 north area of town. This gun has about 250 rounds through it. Colt carbine barrels are chrome lined so this one has about another 3,500 rounds to go. The bore is like new. I paid $1,500 for this gun in November of 2004. I'm selling it because I'm mostly a target shooter now and don't ever use it. This pice is FIRM. NO TRADES.

I have cleaned and lubed this rifle after firing it at the range. I use a coated Dewey rod and bore guide in all my rifles. Even though it' has a chrome lined barrel, I still did the proper barrel break-in procedure. I also never let it get hot. I hand picked this rifle because it is super TIGHT and has nice matching color halves. There is no movement at all between the upper and lower, the handguard is tight too, and the rifle has been 100% reliable. The day I bought this rifle I had opened three new Colt 6721 boxes to choose this one. It's all original, the box is included, and the plastic bag with magazines and instruction booklet has never been opened. The main advantage of buying this AR15 from me is that you know that you're getting a nice hand picked rifle. Don't take this for granted; The first 6721 that I bought that same year was shipped to me sight unseen, and it had such a poor finish that I decided to dump it without ever firing it. I sold that rifle for $1,300 and added $200 to buy this one instead for $1,500 . I also own a Colt 6920 that I had to send back to the factory due to a very loose hand guard, (and that handguard is still loose today.) It looks nice like this 6721, but the receiver halves fit together loose and I have to keep an accu-wedge in the lower receiver. That 6920 was another rifle that I took the chance of ordering sight unseen! So don't assume that all Colt AR15 rifles are created equal. I had to fuss and pay through the nose to get one this nice. I had to fill out the yellow form to buy this rifle. Therefore, we will exchange texas driver license info and make a quick receipt of the sale so I am in the clear should this rifle get stolen later, or sold again and found south-of-the-border stirring up batches of unsanitary tamale paste that got everybody sick.
