While I'm finalizing the specs on a new M4 build, I am debating between a standard front sight tower vs a flip-up front sight in conjunction with a Daniel Defense 12.0 FSPM handguard. I'm concerned that the FST will counteract/obstruct the clarity of a premium scope.

I've seen plenty of photo's of this handguard and the standard front sight tower courtesy of Stickman (as DD offers this in their complete upper package), but I can't find any pics of a flip-up unit with this rail......

Anybody have any.....

Thanks

The 12.0 FPS rail has a cutout for the FSP to protrude. I have this set up on my LMT 10.5" upper. I like it because it allowed me to retain factory FSP while covering the Noveske KX3.

You can use 12.0 M4 rifle length rail with gas block and flip up front sight.

I think I had picture of a 9mm build that John did which used a 12.0FSPM with a folder, I'll check.

I like the Standard FSB.

I had to shorten my 12.0FPSM. Too long otherwise.

Here's my humble submission. I suggest you get a quality mid-length barrel... I got mine from a group buy at ARF and the gas port was measured 1/8" off which required a little extra fitting work. Besides that it has worked great.
