Here is mine, Picked it up 2 weeks ago. 1st ever rifle of this type for me. Ran about 100 rounds through it last weekend on my brothers property. Gotta love the pinned 10 round mag they mandate here in NY. So far I have added a laser dot, tactical flashlight and a Magpul hand stop.

The parts kit and necessary tools come from tacticool22.com. Included is the new barrel nut and front sight base. That did not include takeoff Colt handguards, front sight parts, and sling swivel.

No, thats a Noveske N6 and yeah with a Leupold. That pic is from a team that operates out of COP Blackfish in Afghanistan that BRC did a video with.

I don't know who takes the background out, but if they are, its because they don't know how to light an image for a shadow less white background. Personally, I wouldn't worry care about copying other people who are just copying someone else. If you watch the backgrounds used, you will see that the guys who like to post pics are usually copying someone else anyway.

Post a pic with good lighting so everyone can clearly see what you are showing, and you are a winner in my eyes. Don't worry about the other people.

Looks good, I'm curious as to what made you dump the Colt trigger?The rifle is actually my fathers. We set it up for him this weekend. Hopefully I'm wrong, but he's likely not going to shoot it enough to break that Colt trigger in so I swapped him the PNT from my spare parts bin after he mentioned the trigger feeling a little gritty. I still have two 6920's with factory triggers, so his Colt FCG will likely be a backup for those unless I build another rifle.

As an FNG here this my entry. There are some things about my current set up I'm not wild about, but for my current uses I'm happy with the rail/light/EoTech w/magnifier. Eventually my plan is to put an ACOG on this gun as an homage to what was common in issue in Afghanistan, and I'll probably get another rifle with some of the cool guy features to be my red dot carbine.

If people click on the pic it becomes full size. I use Tumblr for my images, and just pull direct by copying the image location and pasting it in where needed.

Yes, it is specific to the first gen Spitfire. I believe this is the one, though I bought mine long ago and don't remember there being a high or low height option at the time. I would gues the one pictured would be low? Regular lever though. I'll see if I can dig up more info on it when I get home.

I’m the process offloading a bunch of extra stuff I probably would never choose over an SBR or 16” in 5.56 NATO. But kinda proud of this thing. Without the mag, but with sling, light, and optic, at 20”... weighs just 8 lb 13 oz.

This is my LMT SPM 14/ M4 tribute carbine. I bought the complete upper with P/W Blackout FH, MaTech BUIS and Troy drop in quad rail on the EE here, then ordered a complete LMT Defender lower. I swapped the PG and then installed a Giessele G2S trigger and H2 buffer. Optic is an AP PRO, sling is BFG Vickers, and rail covers and VFG are KAC.

Agreed, I thought it was just me listening to too many of the Alien audiobooks on Audible, but I think it does have a slightly Alien appearance. Yes, the high mount Reptilia is what keeps the MRO in place on this one.

Very nice setup. My first AR was almost identical down to the DD quad rail and Aimpoint Comp. Still have it. The only upgrade it needed IMO was an easy-grab ambi charging handle.

Thanks! Other than some possible debugging on the C8 for its bayonet, as complete as can be until either C. gets herself on a plane to install "her" bolt carrier and stake the endplate (I saved these two tasks to give her a token "I helped build that" investment, testing will be with a loaner BCG from another of my rifles) or some unthinkably horrible scenario forces an All Hands On Deck bringing everything that can be made to fire on-line; as it is the household has more hardware than able-bodied operators.

On the one hand, it's exciting to see a project brought to completion; on the other hand it's kinda bittersweet hitting Journey's End. As I've said over at CGN, this couldn't have happened without a lot of guys both here and there picking me up and carrying me on your shoulders to make the magic happen, and someday I really hope (against all odds, for our North of the 49th brethren) that someday I'll be able to arrange a road-trip giving some of you guys a chance to share in the fruits of our labors checking 'em out.

My trusty M&P 15, about 7 years old. Has some reliability upgrades. It has served me well for ranch varmint control and as my home security and SHTF gun. No, it doesn't have a bunch of high-priced fancy-pants furniture, but let me tell you, this gun NEVER quits; it will shoot until the cows come home. Main mods: trigger job, Sprinco orange buffer spring, Sprinco 5-coil extractor spring, H2 LJ buffer, Wolff extra power hammer spring. Coming soon is a Venom Viper comp/brake. If NFAC decides to throw molotov cocktails at my house some night, this is the gun they'll be up against.

It is a 7inch barrel in .22lr. It's a Tippmann Arms Micro Elite Pistol, grabbed it Friday to get something that functioned exactly like my 5.56 guns so I can still shoot with out taking out a loan. i wanted the 11.5 or the 16in but these things go out of stock fast and a nabbed this one because it was there. All the stuff was laying around and my buddy and i bolted it on for a laugh...but we ended up kind of liking it lol.

That is pretty funny. With the scope mounted, the barrel looked way shorter in comparison, my guess would have been something like 4", hence my curiosity. I remember seeing some freakshow factory guns in 5.56 in such ridiculous short lengths (can't remember the manufacturer's name right now) so I thought maybe it was one of those. 7" is still pretty short for 5.56.

A carbine I’ve had for a bit. I got the lower at a gun show in like 2008 and got the upper back when BCM still offered pencil-barreled carbine uppers.
It has been through several minor iterations, all of them pretty bland.
