I’ve had a T-2, Comp M5, TA31H-G, and NX8 on it at various times over the years.

I always end back up with my Comp M4s.

This is my favorite Colt. Took me forever to find a .625” sling swivel for it.

I do most all of my training in and around multi-level structures in low/no light with a white light and I just prefer the bigger lens and more brightness settings of the M4/M4s vs the micro sights.

Thanks! It is actually a factory colt 10.3, it is a 3 prong. I wasn’t too concerned with the three or four as it’s going to be underneath an RC2 most the time once I get that approved, shouldn’t be too much longer.

Here's an old pic I never posted here. Mega MML Mloc receiver/rail all 7075, I wish they were still making these. I would argue that this is the best receiver rail combo made. Rail bolts to the receiver, not the barrel nut. Stiff as hell. I'd like to buy more.

Experimenting with the new C1 ARC and top mounted MRDS. It’s super high but I think will provide more options than the j-arm since it’s not tied to one side and apparently this is better for passive NVG use, though that’s a long ways off unless I start playing with work NODs.

I tried doing it off of the front ring initially but this is a more natural mounting position and has better balance. Don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone put one there but I assume that’s because there’s not enough space when the scope mount and RDS mount are separate.

Found a early 2000s Wilson Arms/Cooper 24" bull barrel and handguard in a local gun & pawn. Things got dwell time in spades lol.

I'm assuming a .223Rem chamber, though firing M193 in it shows no over pressure signs.

They also have a monolithic style version of the MUR that's a great option for anyone wanting free float without their laser zero wandering too much. It's kind of heavy on paper, but not when you consider the rigidity that it brings to the table. For an SPR style rifle where you want aiming devices on the top rail, it's the obvious choice in my opinion.

ETA: Oh and it's forged instead of billet, so big bonus there too.

Thank you for that information, while I am not new to AR's, I am a long way from knowing what 99.5% of what alot of y'all know. I have a Colt, 2 BCM, 2 S&W, and 2 Diamondback's so alot of the Billet stuff I am not familiar with, so it's cool it's Forged. I was however surprised with the Diamondbacks but then again I could have gotten the 2 good ones they put together. 😝

I would like to put together a precision/hunting AR in 6mm ARC, so something like that upper would probably be awesome for that.

The handguard is called 'Heat Rail System' and was designed by Knights Armament. It functions as a heat sink and pulls heat away from the barrel and is supposed to dissipate it faster than traditional barrel cooling.

It is a Wilcox mount made for NF 2.5-10x24/32, which has a similar ( essentially same ) turret, at request from a team. Dot is just above the turret; pretty easy to pick up with a partial cheek weld.

Never done any groups, but I can consistently make offhand headshots at 50 yards with mine. It's in a 10.3 inch 1:7 upper.

Woodland for the win in a lot of areas.

I’ll bet that little piggy gets heavy with the RIS II rail and a HBAR up front! Still a beautiful build, and the ones I have which are similar are fat pigs as well.

Thanks Stickman, it is a bit heavy. Haven't weighed it yet but I'm guessing 9 or 9.5 lbs loaded. If it didn't shoot so well, I'd take more issue with the weight. It does balance nice right in front of the mag well.

Nice SR-15 above too, I'm diggin the simplicity. Gotta start saving my pennies for a Knights.

Just finished putting this 20 inch flattop together. Hoping to shoot it next weekend, I’m not brave enough to hit a range on a holiday weekend. This platform is meaningful to me because a lot of my friends who enlisted straight out high school carried a version of it in Iraq.

It’s clearly not a clone, but I’m fairly confident it will serve me well as a shooter and occasional hog slayer. The upper is Aero, with a BA barrel and BCM BCG. Stock is a UTG. The lower is Anderson—it wasn’t my first choice, but it was available and reasonably priced for today’s market. At some point I will probably turn this in to a homage to an A4 DMR rifle, but for now I’m liking the carry handle and A2 handguards. 65866
