Dinger/Marc: are those the quick attach model Redi-Mags or which ones are they exactly? Several options on Boonie Packer's website.

I'll get some pics up when I get off my ass :p

I don't know what model but it isn't quick attach.

While not Dinger or Marc,

The Redi-Mags I use are the newer ones RM II BCE -- they are simple to install and have a seperated paddle to release the mag (which was my biggest hate with the original) and the Bolt Catch Extension allows for more "normal" weapon drills.

Yesterday I reconfirmed the zero, then started hitting the gong (approximately 24" in diameter) at 450 yards. First round was a miss as I applied a little too much hold over, but after I adjusted the holder over I hit the gong for the next 19 rounds. Then it was off to do some CQB and transitioning drills. I'm very pleased with the way this project turned out.

Very Nice!!!! What brand / color of paint did you use on the JPoint / Dr Optic on the 16" Daniel Defense Mid-Length?

I used Testors Model Master enamels like on my 16" 6.8mm Carbine. I think it was SAC Bomber Green 34159. It even comes in a spray can.

Cool paint job.
Who's rail is that ? it's sleek, low profile and looks heavy duty.

That is a Spike's Tactical rail. It clamps on the barrel nut so you don't have to remove the nut to install it, just the brake and FSP. It is milled from a solid piece of aluminum and it has been rock solid. The top rail lines up with the upper to give it the monolithic look and feel. Not to mention I think it looks sharp with the painted barrel underneath. :cool:

Colt that started out as a 6520 that I put a 6920 upper on. The grip is an old A1, with a little rubber gap reducer. I hate the finger groove of the A2.

Troy rear sight, LaRue mount, 1.5x Compact ACOG TA44R-4.

Colt Sporter Target C7A1 Clone. All Colt with C79 Elcan and Diemaco BUIS. Fired 60 rounds on Thursday and it ran like a champ! I plan on shooting a lot more when I get a chance to go to the outdoor range. I gotta admit I was kinda nervous when I fired the first shot :D . There are more accessories to come, I'm eventually going to add some rail protectors, a VFG, an Aimpoint ML3 , a SureFire weaponlight, and a Vickers sling. Then it'll be done!

Thanks! I was just getting ready to post a comment about this very fact.
I think if you look through this thread, you will find a picture of this rifle on just about every page starting about a month ago. I realize that he is very proud of his rifle, and the customized touches he has added to it, but we have all had an ample opportunity to view it (more than once). I think that user should refrain from posting any more pictures of this very nice rifle (even if he runs it through the gamut of PS filters to disguise it), that is unless he makes major changes to it. If he has a new rifle he wants to share with us, I think that would be ok as well. It is pretty ridiculous if you ask me, the funny/ironic part is that he is doing the same thing at AR15.com. It is a pretty safe bet that more than 80% of the AR owning world has had a chance to see your rifle, and it is nice, real nice, but please; NO MORE PICTURES OF YOUR RIFLE PLEASE.

I have this Olyarms with a post-ban CAR/A2 for a year and I made some changes and additions to the carbine. I replaced the post-ban stock with a fullu functional 6 position one, I installed a two piece MI 4 rail hand guard with KAC grip and cover. I got the Pelican M6 flashlight with mount, a Bass Pro Shops laser pointer, a Simons red dot scope and mount. The sling is from S.P.E.C. O.P.S. brand from my last deployment in I raq. The M6 flashlight was issued to me while I was deployed in Afghanistan. I have plans to buy a full Mil-Spec M4 flat top upper with 14.5 barrel, a EO Tech 552 scope and a fli-up rear sight. Those plans will come in the future.

I added a little to my otherwise pretty much stock Colt. One of these days I'll add a 7" LaRue rail or a 9.5" (extended around sides of bottom of FSB) Daniel Defense Lite rail (more than likely the D.D.)

Smoked mags are T&E from magpul they are still in testing...
even though that mag has over 5000 roiunds through it with out a malfunction.

The sight is the NEW Aimpoint T-1 with LaRue mount.

Looks like a neat mount brother. A customer of mine has a really cool digital level that has a green and red light on it. When both are lit then your rifle is completely level. It requires this type of mount (he has one but couldn't remember where he got it) and I want to get one and the level for my Rem 700.

Grant built this AR for me back in May, I figured I should finally get around to posting some photos.
I was able to break it in during a Vickers basic carbine class in June and it ran flawlessly.
