I've read this stuff about a rubber grip like material, very similar to grip tape, but better. People use it on Gen3 Glocks.

Well I have a Gen3 again. And want to know about this stuff. I've used it once, great material. Especially with gloves.

Anybody know the name?

I've heard nothing but good about Rat Grips, http://www.ratgrips.com/, I'm gonna give it a try in a few days.

Thanks, but nah it isn't A-Grip. I'm not fond of that stuff. I hate how it wears, covers up the magazine release, etc.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

That R.A.T. grip looks nice, but still. :I Trying to find the other stuff.

Good stuff. I used the rubber on my 19 and it was awesome. Not sure about the sand.

Gee, the rubber stuff we use on grips is called old bicycle inner tubes, cheap, recycled green alternative that works great...

Ha, I didn't even think of that till you mentioned it. I've used inner tubes too. Works really well on the LCP I use sometimes now.

I would do this, but with Decal Grip I can cut it to fit around a CTC Laser Grip.

This is what I would do if I didn't need that though.

ETA: Some of you should read the thread before you post...

I think what you are referring to are called "Decal Grips"

Theyre about 8 bucks a set, and you can get them in either a sandpaper-like texture, or a rubbery texture. I prefer the rubbery texture. The sandpaper texture will rub your skin raw in minutes if you try to carry the pistol against bare skin.

The grip decal kit came pre-cut with about 8 different pieces. I only used the grip sections, and used the rest to enhance the texture of the slick front end of the FS2000. The pic isnt great, but you can kind of see everything.
