Got my first AR out of Lay-Away this week and I already started setting it up. Taking the advice of some folks on the board, I didn't go overboard getting a bunch of stuff I think I need that I really don't.

I picked up two 30rnd PMags, a Magpul folding rear sight, a BFG 3.25" universal wire loop, VCAS padded sling and the first 100 rounds that will be employed to fly down range.

Well I just took a hit on the wallet. Just ordered from larue an aimpoint comp m4s w/ QD mount and a troy rear folding battle site.

I took a hit today too. Always wanted to find a good concealment holster compatable with my M&P9FS if I put a TLR-1 on it. I found out about the Raven Concealment Phantom LC line, so I ordered one with a double mag carrier to go with it. After this, I had to order the TLR-1 to fill the holster. I then thought what is the point of having a light on my gun if I didn't have night sights? So I ordered some Trijicon tritium front and rear sights. Then, I was thinking hell, while I have the rear sight off I would have the perfect opportunity to install the APEX striker block and spring, so I ordered the APEX DCAEK.

What a mess. What started with a new holster ended up with $470 spent in a single sitting.
