I'm looking for a hook/mount that i can attach my sling to on my handguards. I have Magpul MOE handgaurds and a savvy sniper single/dual sling. Just need something to hook it to.

With the MOE you can get a section of pic rail, then you would just need a pic rail sling mount.

Get a piece of Magpul's polymer rail-section, bolt it on, then get a QD sling mount. Problem solved.

They have four different length rail-sections, so get whichever length you think you'll need. I'd recommend getting it from SKD Tactical, as their prices and shipping times are stellar.
Here's some sling mounts:

Yeah, that is nifty. I wasn't aware of any such product, seems like an easy mounting solution.

Ive heard they are awesome. Personally, I have the shortest rail section from magpul for my carbine length MOE handguard and I think it takes up a lot of room. These mount-n-slots are supposed to leave lots of room for your hands.

Does anyone have this QD mount? It looks great. Wondering if it will mount to a standard C8 handguard?
Thanks
Has anyone had any negative experiences with a QD sling mount attached to a Magpul rail section (or the other option discussed in this thread) that was mounted to an MOE handguard?
I recently bought a BCM 16" mid-lenght and am looking to upgrade to the Magpul MOE handguard now that the mid-lengths are available. I'd like to use a QD sling mount on the handguard but am a little hesitant about the strength of the handguard and/or how it's attached to the handguard when using a sling.
In other words, should I have any concerns about attaching/mounting a sling to an MOE handguard?
I recently added a MOUNT-N-SLOT by IWC to a MOE Midlength. There isn't a slot at the rear of the MOE Midlengths. So, I had to drill 2 holes for the mount. I have only had it on for a week & only used it for one range session. So far, it is very secure. However, like you, I wonder if it will hold up.
