I have been thinking a lot lately about what works and what doesn't. I used to want to hang everything possible off of a gun. I wanted all the gadgets and doodads. Things that flipped out and switches for everything. Some of that stuff has its place. But when a gun just has to work why bother with all that junk.

So I bring you my newest build. Simple and to the point.
14.5 Inch middy DD upper with a perm attached FH.
the lower is just a Factory S&W lower I had sitting around with CTR stock and a Vickers Tactical Sling.
Illumination is a simple P6X Light (great light by the way)
Only other thing being added is an Ampoint Micro I have on the way.

Bomb proof and ready for anything.
Thoughts?

Also forgive my poor photography skills. I am good outdoors but suck with indoor lighting.

I like simple, too. That is why I keep my 6920 stock with the exception of a Magpul MOE grip and BAD.

Its pretty close to what my LMT is set up 14.5'' upper with KAC ras , larue fixed BUIS and larue lt-150 aimpoint mount with VLTOR light mount and SF 6p light and VCAS sling.
