I was just notified that I won the LAV/M4Carbine.net free class contest - and I plan on attending this class.
As soon as I get the necessary details, I'll be signing up.

Amazed that I won, thrilled I'll be able to take a class with LAV, and very pleased that there's one close to home.

As someone brand new to the tactical world, would this class be too difficult for a person that has never shot tactical carbine? I found some vids that show how to practice the basics (reloads, trigger squeeze and transition to strong side sidearm, etc), but never did a shoot.

Hello mechanic87, probably not. I suggest signing up for one of the Vickers Tactical Basic level classes, we have several on the schedule. Or check out your regions VSM instructor to get you started on the right foot.

Please let me know if you need anything else.
