I know the dead horse has been beat. But what companies offer adjustable piston systems? I am looking into a 12.5 or shorter upper and am just blown away with all the info. Any recommendations are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Here are a couple "ready made" piston setups that are adjustable to one degree or another.

Adams Arms

Sabre Defense

PWS

They all have , at least, an adjustment for suppressed and unsuppressed fire/use.

For a fully, ie adjust, test,, adjust, retrofit kit here are couple:

They both start with a JP adjustable gasblock..
I prefer the steel GB due it's increased service life

Either Ares or Osprey retrofit piston kits.

They install almost identically and are very well made.

The only downside is that the Ares is only available in carbine length.
Not such a big deal, in this case, due to the fact that you're creating a SPR build.

If you plan on using DD or Samson rails use the Ares. The Osprey won't fit under that brand.

Is LMT a respectable brand. In comparison to lWRC or Noveske?

oh heck yes it's "respectable".

Very easy to work with and has suppressed/nonsuppressed and off position adjustments.

If you're getting a complete upper and like monolithic uppers it's one of the best on the market right now.

Another option is the PWS piston upper. Again, same three adjustment options coupled with top notch components.

Excellent. Now do any of there brands have the ability to fit DD lite rails?
