Recently got a Viper 2-7 in for T&E
It's very nice little scope, surprisingly good glass

I was notified that I am getting 2 of the Razor HD 1-4s, one with each of their reticles
Anxious to put them through their paces and get some feedback from some other guys...

I have heard plenty of good things. The group buy that I am aware of was not long enough ago to get a feel for long term reliability.

Their standard T&E terms are too short to get a real world feel for reliability.. and what is reliable to me may not be to someone else.
I don't treat my personal gear badly, I want it to last, not to see if I can introduce failure.

I am interested in:

Glass quality
Reticle design and use in varying light conditions
Turret repeatability
consistent eye relief
ill ret switch functionality
and of course durability


All but the last are easy to test
Though I could wack it with a phone book hard a bunch of times!
Reticle design comes down to preference and intended use.

I have had both models of the Razor 1-4x. I now have the EBR version and like it a lot. As for durability, do a quick search for my post on the subject. I had a mishap that illustrated the ability to hold zero. They are built like a tank.
