This class is an entry level course for handgun shooters and is designed specifically for those who have not had any formal instruction or those who wish a refresher class. Topics covered include the following: safety, stance, grip, sight alignment and trigger control. Familiarization with their service pistol includes field stripping and maintenance. In addition to this, other topics that are covered include reloads, draw, and introduction to different skill drills including dry fire and bulls eye shooting.

- Class dates: Dec 11 2011

- Cost: $150 Plus a $10.00 Range fee

- Location: Knob Creek Gun Range

- Class size: Limited

Weapon & Gear Class Requirements:

- Eye and Ear Protection (electronic hearing protection is preferred)
- Serviceable handgun of at least 9mm Para caliber
- Serviceable holster
- Minimum one double magazine pouch / Ability to carry minimum of two magazines
- Minimum of three serviceable magazines (5 is better)
- 500 rounds of ammunition
- Suitable range wear depending on the season
- Good attitude

This class will be held at the lower range and on the day of the Knob creek Christmas party.
It will be one great class
Must be paid in full by November 18 2010

Is this class full yet? It looks like I'm going to be in Louisville that week, and I just might have 2 take an extra day for myself.

Since this class is full I thought I would ask:
What is everyone planning on using?

Are we looking at the standard Mix of Glocks and Sigs or something else?

Am I going to be the only guy there with an M&P?

Dang man, you could not have had these in a couple days ago when I was in the shop.

I will try to get by and pick one of each up. If not can you hold them for me and I will get them at class?

I'm running a M&P 9, bringing my g17 as backup (even though i don't know if i have a holster for it...)

Mr. Smith is the shop going to be open Friday afternoon? If so I might stop by on my way out of Louisville

Exactly the same setup I have. M&P9 with a G17 backup. I am hoping my Holster is in by Friday but I am not holding my breath.
