VSM Basic Pistol Training in a One or Two Day Format
We will be conducting a VSM Basic Pistol Course 11/06-07/2010 at the Jacob's Plain Range, Greenville, TX (http://jacobsplain.com/)
This will be an excellent opportunity for the new student to learn solid fundamentals of the defensive pistol, for the TX CHL holder to build significantly more skill than the concealed carry course imparted or for the experienced shooter to review and fine tune their fundamental skills.
Cost: $150 for the one day or $250 for two days (range fees included)
Topics will include:
Firearms safety for the real world
VSM Fundamental handling skills
VSM Fundamental markmanship techniques
Maintenance
Equipment considerations
Mindset
Equipment List:
Service pistol in 9mm caliber or larger
Three magazines (or more)
Means to carry two magazines on your person
Outside the waistband, belt mounted holster
Sturdy belt to support gear
Eye protection
Ear protection (electronic if possible)
Ammo: 300 rounds of reliable training ammo for the one day format; 700 for two day format
Ball cap
Sack lunch, drinks, snacks
