Just curious to opinions on the XD. I just ordered the first season of self defense TV on DVD, and it seems Clint Smith loves the .45. Of course Springfield is one of the sponsors. :p

They are ok. I like the P99 more, but their are a lot of XD fans out there

It's a great, tuff, accuate shooter.

the big problem with the XD line is parts. Springfield will not sell any critical replacement parts to individuals. If you need an extractor the pistol has to go back to them for a replacement to be fitted. :eek: I will not own a weapon I can't get spare parts for.
