I recently purchased a Benelli M1 Super 90 tactical with. The dealer I bought it from got the gun "As Is" at an estate sale along with several other rifles, handguns and shotguns. The gun is like new, but no box, sling, or manual. I gave $900.00 out the door. I don't think it had been fired.

My question is, for you M1 tactical owner, did this gun new with more than one choke tube? If it did what tubes did it come with?

Also, was $900.00 a fair price?

Usually only one. Some of the 'sporting' ones like the Cordoba, Super Sport II, Super Black Eagle II etc come with more.

$900 is kinda high.

For my Benelli M1 Super I only use an extended Briley light modified and a extended Briley improved cylinder choke tubes for 3gun competition.

$900 seems a bit high to me as well. But so long as you're happy, it's a good deal. I could swear I had read somewhere that the M1S90 came with 3 flush chokes. Mine didn't, but it's used (No choke at all, and lots of carbon in the threads!). It now has a Briley flush IC that I've used for shooting wobble and 3 gun.

I just got a new in the box M1S90 that had been collecting dust in the store for a while. It came with three chokes and a choke tool. Improved Cyl. Medium and Full. Awesome gun.

Your shotgun should have came with 3 tubes when new. Beretta tubes are the same as the Benelli. Check out Ebay for the tubes you want. You should be able to get a full set of 3 tubes for less than $20 or so. If you just need the extended tubes go with Briley and expect to pay about $30 - 50 each.

Dang, did they get cheap or something? My M1 super 90 came with 5 tubes, Cyl, Improved cyl, modified, improved modified and full.

Regardless it's been the best shotgun I've ever held.

Is yours also stamped Heckler Koch on it? Mine came with 3 flush chokes. I'm trying to find out what is the best choke for it if I want to shoot slugs.

Best tubes for shooting slugs are Cylinder bore or Imp cylinder. If you want to shoot the sabot slugs rifled extended tubes are available.

Others have said what a NIB M1 should come with. For chokes I run one choke for EveryThing I do and every shell type ... Light Modified. It knocks over steel plates @ 20yrds and in with 1oz loads, tosses full power and reduced recoil slugs with superb accuracy out to as far as I'd shoot it (75yrds). I do not even have to adjust my sights from birdshot to slugs. The M1 is a Awsome shooting platform. I paid $759 +tx for mine sevaral years ago. Harold H.

Maybe this will explain the different choke options. I dug out a Benelli brochure from 1999 which may be the year I bought mine or I may have purchased it the year before, I also bought 3 Montefeltros between then and now.

Anyway, the M1 field guns came with 5 tubes, Special purpose guns came with 3 or a cylinder bore.

The M1 S90 Tactical comes with 3 choke tubes. At least mine did, along with the other 3 that co-workers of mine purchased. A buddy of mine recently bought a NIB one for $700+tax

I sold my Benelli M1 Tactical with extension tube, sling, chokes(IC, F, M), case and a recoil pad for about 1K. My M1 Field came with 5 chokes. Your going to love your M1S90!
