Reload this Page favorite place to have sling mount on 12.5 w Vtac tube?

I'm almost finished building my first SBR, and have a BCM 12.5 upper with Vtac tube. On a Vtac tube, where do you find the best place is to mount your sling (I'm using the new Vtac mount that mounts to a rail). I don't like the rails up front on the sides, because my hands are up as far as they can do. Any experience with back near the upper receiver on the left hand side? Ideas? I am just trying to figure it out before I actually try to get the rail pieces on...

I've played with sling attachment points in all sorts of different spots. What I've found works best for me is the front end of the sling as far back on the rail as possible. And the rear attachment point goes at the back end of the reciever. I found that's the easiest and most comfortable setup for me.
