Use of a two point sling video, Win a $25 dollar Gift Certificate [Archive]

guess the name of the sidearm used and guess what the demonstrator's old occupational specialty is then pick a number between 100 and 1000. The closest number that has the correct sidearm and MOS will win a 25 dollar gift certificate to use on our website.

If two people have the same number and correct answers the first one to post will be the winner.

Game begins today and the number will be drawn on the 14th of November.

You may guess again and pick a new number once per day.

Input on what you think of the sling / video would be greatly appreciated

MOS is a 2 part number first part is two digits and describes job field second part is 2 digits and describes specific specialty.

IE: 0211 is as follows
02=Intel
11= Humint specialist/ Counter-Intelligence

The demonstrators MOS is listed somewhere in the video.

I like the looks of the sling, especially the loop. I could do with the fastex clip though, broken too many of them over the years to like them any longer.

And here I want to start a discussion about support-side shoulder transitions, :p

0311 (however my first guess at a secondary would be 8654 or something along those lines. IIRC they changed it, as well as others like 8541 to an 03' designator a while back).

Gotcha. I agree with the similarities in landscape. There were some mountains close to where I was at that reminded me of the ones I see from my window everyday.

Happy Veterans day to all who served. Our prayers go out to the those currently forward deployed. Especially Jastin and Mike two of our founding members currently serving in harms way.

I hope the American Government does not forget the sacrifices made by our Veterans. I pray that wisdom be bestowed upon the newly elected officials. Let them remember the American lives that are given up on the idea of freedom. Let them remember that the Constitution is the highest law in the land. Let them remember that any infringement upon American Freedom undermines those who fought abroad to maintain it. Let them remember that any man who gives up liberty in exchange for security, deserves neither.
