Hey knive guys,

Recently I got two Emerson blades: SOCFK A and Commander BTS (both combo edge). Although both have new unused razor sharp new edge sometime they will become dull... So my question is what's a good sharpening system?

Anyone have experience with the kniveart.com Surgical Black Tri-Stone System http://www.knifeart.com/ulsurtris.html ?

How do you sharpen the serrated part?

Any help will be appreciated.

I've heard the Edge Pro is good.

Spyderco Sharpmaker, its the fastest system I ever used and you will be shaving sharp in 5 minutes, unless your sharpening M2 tool steel, but everything else I tried goes pretty fast.

Check out the Spyderco Sharpmaker 204: http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=77

I've been using one since 1989 and they are great for sharpening all your knives. The angle of the blade against the stone is IMO the key thing in sharpening and the 204 does a good job in making this task simple. The 204 also allows you to put a utility sharp 40 degree bevel on your knives. It also allows you to bevel a 30 degree edge (15 degrees each side) for back bevelling and if you prefer, a 30 degree for your knives that are required to do lighter jobs that require more intricate cutting.
