View Full Version : G26 ejection question

I recently bought a police trade in 2nd gen G26. I have run 300 rounds through it with zero malfunctions, and I really like the pistol.

I have noticed that it gets a brass mark from the cartridge mouth hitting (see pic). I'm assuming this is from the ejection pattern being too low. This makes some brass glitter that gets everywhere.

Neither my G19 or my G17L do this. Is this normal for a G26? Extractor issue or ejector issue?

The pistol is stock except for a NY1 trigger spring. The mag springs feel new and very strong.

Thanks

I have 8 Glocks, 4 9mm, 1 .40, 1 10mm and 2 .45. They all have that. Additionally, my 2 M&Ps and 3 Sigs have it too.

My G26 does it a little, but my G19's don't. Almost everyone I train with has a G19 or G17 that does it. Pretty common I'd say. I think ammo choice is the biggest factor in whether it does it or not, and to what degree.
