For those of you that have one with a free float tube what kind of accuracy (groups) are you getting at 100 yards

With good 62 gr ammo, 1/2 to 3/4 MOA.

Thanks, 1/2 to 3/4" is better than I was expecting so that is good news.

And are those 3 or 5 shot groups?

14.5 inch with 1.5 BC, 3/4 MOA or better consistent out of 50 round cycle at 100m using TAP 75, SSA 77gr, going to try some 62/64 gr next week for groups.

Not that I'm expecting a huge difference, but I'd be curious how much 10 shot groups would run.

Regardless, that's outstanding for a chromed barrel. Free-floated I assume?

Free floated DD lite 12 rail.

But sadly it is for my Dad. I built for him, he paid for parts after I convinced him to sell those Bushcrappers.

Not a very scientific test but I set up a target at 200 yards and shot with just a red dot and kept the shots within about 6" group off a bench using cheap Fiocchi 55 grain fmj's

this is a 16" BFH upper with DD Omega 9's.

Buy with confidence!

Oh. I still don't believe it unless cherry picking groups.

Post up some 10 shot groups shot with various types of ammo.

BCM 14.5" BFH midlength with a Nightforce 12-42x scope mounted in a Bobro mount I get 5 shot groups with BH Mk262 Mod 1 in the 1/2-3/4 MOA at 100yds the biggest variable being me.

NF is excellent glass, and they are a short 45 minute drive from me. Need to pick up one of their scopes. Still using my Leupold Mark4 4.5x14x40

You should expect the BCM HF + FF to be sub MOA so buy with confidence. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. You will still want to test different ammo like with any other rifle for best match.

I have a BFH upper with the Troy Vtac rail on the way from Bravo company and a Leupold mark IV 1.5 x 5 M2 and mount on the way from Larue. This will also be used as a walking around type predator rifle so I am hopeing for MOA or better with good ammo.

That sounds realistic. I would not expect a .5 or less moa barrel.

Mine was with 62 gr. Green Tips, I think LC. Off the bench and a rest, not off hand. I wish I was that good. EOTECH XPS-2.0 with 3x mag. Avg 3 rnd group about 3/4" I'll post a pic when I go shooting again.

How much of a decrease in accuracy can be expected using drop in hand guards?

How about Bravo's non forged barrels? Standard? Anyone with stories about those? Im doing a set up with a 12.5.

16" mid LW - snap in guards. Seems to run about +/- 4MOA 5 shot groups from a rest with a 2MOA primary arms RDS - with generic 55fmj a la Federal bulk or PMC.

Haven't done any real serious testing with good ammo. Need to scope it to really tell, but I can't imagine it being worse than 2MOA with good ammo and a scope.

I have one 20" BCM with a CL barrel thats good for 2" groups @100 over 10 rounds with various weight SMK handloads and standard non-ff handguards.

With my M193 clone with Hornady 55 FMJs it's more like a 3"-3.5" gun over 20 round groups @100.

Both of these are caveated by the fact I can't shoot and better than .75" with any consistency over 10 rounds, period. I could say I had a "sub-MOA" gun if I cherry picked a 5-round group or two with either type of ammo, but in reality it's not a statistically significant result.
