I want to order an M&P9 with the DCAEK installed from Grant, but also minimize the chance of "dead trigger syndrome". Someone on the M&P forums experienced the dead trigger with his DCAEK equipped M&Pc, and Randy Lee fixed it with the MA compliant sear spring. Will the trigger pull weight be more with the DCAEK and the MA compliant sear spring than it would with the standard DCAEK setup? And if so, what will the pull be?

No real increase in pull weight as far as I could tell. I've a DCAEK in my FS 9. Had 1 instance of dead trigger, called Apex and Randy fixed by installing MA sear spring in my sear housing, I can't tell the difference..Anyway, dead trigger issue is fixed,I've put about 400rnds through it since it was fixed and so far, no problems..

Trigger pull will increase a few ounces. Probably not noticeable unless you measure it.
