I am thinking of getting an TA44SR-10 with a Larue mount to use on my M4. My rifle has a fixed front sight base.

Does the fixed FSB cause any problems for the ACOG? Are their any other quick detacable mounts that might work better?

I have a TA44-5

if you learn to aim with both eyes open and focus on the target, the FSB wont be an issue

FSB is inside the focal plane, and will appear as a transparent blur that does not obscure the FOV. The only folks that have real trouble with it is those that Jedi Mind Trick themselves into it because they focus on the blur instead of the reticle.
