How to get takedown lever over retaining pin on M&P?

I was looking at my M&P9 and somehow worked the takedown lever over the retaining wire in the frame. I tried, but now I can't get the lever back in the frame. Any suggestions, I didn't want to force it or mess anything up.

Ok, figured it out. The lever had to be all the way down to go back over the retaining wire.
