Attached are some photos of the Aimpoint MPS II mounted on a M2 .50BMG. 1st photo shows how the MPS II is mounted on an M2. 2nd photo shows the red dot (may look more white vice red due to camera) of the MPS II zero'd on a target two hundred yards away. We zero'd the iron sights at 200 yards, placed them on the tank/target at two hundred, then moved the red dot so that it sat on the same point on the tank. 3rd photo shows how the MPS II is parallax free as you can see the red dot at the top of the optic tube, yet still on the same point as the 2nd photo.

The MPS II is mounted on the Aimpoint MGMount which is ballistically compensated so that when zero'd at 200meters you simply throw a lever for 800 meters and then 1200 meters. The MPSII w/MGMount are sitting on the Brugger & Thomet Picatinny QD Rail Adapter that simply slides on to the M2 receiver and clamps down securely.

The MPS II uses a CR123 Lithium battery and provides 50,000 hours of constant on battery life.

The MPS II has just been replaced by the MPS III. The MPSIII has an 80,000 hour constant on battery life. Both are NVD compatible.

Here is a video clip of the MPS II in action. http://www.dragonm50.com/index.html
