Would love to attend this class...I attended the Blackwater Extreme Officer Survival class back in the summer of 2006 with 2 other guys from my agency down in Myock...great ranges and excellent instruction. I've been really wanting to go back for another training class there and this would be perfect...now I just gotta convince the wife.

At the moment we are roughly 3/4 full.

+1 for attending the course. Is anyone staying on site or perhaps has stayed on site before? Or is it better to get a hotel out in town and drive in every morning?

Staying on site is the more convenient option. Hotels in Moyock basically dont exist so you'd end up staying in VA.

I'll be staying on site. NCPatrolAR is right, the only other options would be 15-20 miles north in Chesapeake. It's pretty cool hanging out with like minded folks at the lodge after class and the facilities are nicer than you would think.

But if you really want to stay off site, there is a Hilton in Chesapeake that has an awesome BW rate ($55 w/ tax incl). My girlfriend came up with me a year ago and I'd head over to Moyock for the day while she did school work (she's in grad school) and when I got back we'd go to VA beach for dinner. Made for a mini vacation but if it's just me, I stay at the lodge.

I'm in for the class but I was wondering if there will be any force on force exercises? Just curious.
