View Full Version : US Palm Battle Grip
has anyone seen/used the US Palm Battle Grip. I got an email from AIM recently and it has this grip for $37.63.

looks a lot like a Tango Down - they even give a side-by-side comparison pic

and it has a captive cover on "the water resistant storage compartment is perfect for incidentals such as spare batteries, a full AR bolt, or even a few rounds of ammo"...

Looks very interesting, I'd love to feel it.

The BG-17 feels great in the hand. I like the looks of the BG-16, but it is kind of skinny. The BG-17 feels just right.
Oh TangoDown does make them.
I had the similar grip on my ak and it's really nice in hand I would try it on my ar.

yeah but this is for an AR...
Looks like a TD grip with a little more length of pull. Perfect for hands that find the TD a little too small.

they say it, "is a full sized Westernized rifle grip featuring a design that actually drives the user's hand up, and into the receiver/grip junction."

I've been wanting to try either this or their AK grip. I like how they appear to seat your hand, it would be perfect for a person with a naturally high grip such as myself. $40+ shipped is a lot to pay for something like this though. So unless something changes I'll be sticking with my MOE.
That looks alot like a Gen 2 Glock grip. I like it, I might give this a shot

I'm using the BG-16 with the rite pull adapter that puts it another 3/4" back (see pic), I like the size of the 16 but I also am particular about having the end of my finger rest naturally on the trigger rather than having my knuckle stick an inch outwards when I'm firing the rifle. Not sure if the 17 existed when I got this grip, looks like it may accomplish the same thing. The stippling is the best of any AR grip I've felt. It's hard plastic, unlike the Ergo, but it's still more comfortable, and works great with or without gloves.
