Mini 14 mag holders

hey folks
I know this is not a Mini forum but from reading on this site it seems to be one of the more knowledgeable discussions. With Christmas coming up, my brother has hinted at mag pouches for his 20 round Ruger mags. I do not know much about web gear, I tend to favor cowboy action type firearms. But I do know that he favors Eagle and Tactical Tailor for his AR mags and was wonder if the same pouches could be used for his Mini mags. So I guess my question is are .223/5.56 AR type mags around the same size as the Mini? And would Mini mags fit pouches designed for AR/m4 type mags. Any help would be great. Thanks

Any Short AR mag pouch should work. I have 6 of these, they are good quality and not too expensive. Call your order in, and make sure they are in stock. DBT is notorious for selling stuff that is not in stock and back-ordered for months.

I use that very pouch for my Ruger 20 rd. Mini-14 mags and they work awesome.
