Sling mount?

Will a USGI side sling mount work with the Magpul MOE hand guards? I don’t have one of the side sling mounts on hand and looking for pics online it’s kind of hard to tell. The side sling mount looks like the best choice to use with a Daniel Defense LW mid-length with the MOE hand guards.
