MOE handguard question

one of my rifles is currently an a2 configuration with the aimpoint scout mount with a reddot mounted over the handguards. i had to switch from the double heatshield version to the smaller regular carbine handguards for the mount to fit.

ive been looking at the MOE handguards as a budget option to mount a rail section for a vfg and a weapons light. is the MOE handguard any taller than the standard handguards?
