I think I would rather have that than a 17....

Are these going to be sold commercially?
I need one of these with an 18" barrel and the SCAR 17's folding stock and the new Leupold 1-8.
I'm off to write Santa a letter.

It is an AWESOME time to be a fan of 7.62 these days.
Awesome news! Thanks for the heads up Gabe.
That stick would be so cool if made available to the general public!
I can't help but notice the barrel retention screws on the SSR. Seems the barrel is QD like the rest of the SCAR family. If that's the case, I wonder if other barrel lengths will be offered? A 16" SSR would be the heat.

How about in 260 Remington? Hits harder at distance than a 300 Winchester magnum. I'll take one. In any caliber.
Any word on these being released commercially?

YES PLEASE
Yes, I would love to hear any updated info on the Mk20. Is it being fielded? How is it performing? Will it be sold to the civilian world?
I've been asking all around and my understanding is that it hasn't been fielded. This is an absolutely unconfirmed info, though.
Gabe,
Thanks for the tip. I added this to our home page, even though I'm not sure this fits with our concept of a Designated Marksman Rifle.
