Dealers would be required to alert authorities when they sell within five consecutive business days two or more semiautomatic rifles greater than .22 caliber with detachable magazines, according to the draft obtained by The Washington Post.

How does this effect the consumer? I am just curious. Anybody hear of this yet that holds an FFL?

First I've heard. Basically sounds like they are using the multiple handgun report for semi auto rifles.

That is what I thought, but being a consumer of said rifles I wonder what all is coming down the pipe. I figured I would post to see if anybody has more info then the washington post.

They define BULK differently than I do. 2 is not bulk.

It would be no more work for the consumer.
Just more work for the dealer and the ATF. These is already done with handguns with a Form 3310.
