Just for the sake of morbid curiosity, did you ever happen to come upon any detailed info/reports regarding the Brits' trials of this versus the G36/SIG/etc?
-It seems the barrel forging process was a factor?
-I have found unsubstantiated rumors that the L119A1 chamber actually differs slightly from a 5.56mm NATO chamber - is this true?
-The DI outperformed the piston offerings under consideration?
The reason I'm curious is that it's fascinating how they could find something so similar to an M4 to be so noticeably "more reliable than" an M4...
