View Full Version : Blackhawk or I Shot cases
I am looking for a soft carrycase for my M4 to carry to work and back home. I have been looking at ISHOT and Blackhawk and Brownells M4 case and I would like to know which ones are the best?
Can't speak for the other brands firsthand, but I have 2 iSHOT cases, in 30" & 42" and they're great. My next case will be from Helmie again.
I don't think you can go wrong with any iSHOT product.
I also have two I-shot rifle bags and a couple of their range bags for pistol, their great man.

I-Shot is the way to go they dont outsource their stuff. Plus gotta support the VA crew.

My next bags will be Storm hard cases. I currently have 2 Blackhawk and 2 Tactical Taylor. The Blackhawk bags aren't bad, the oldest one is 5-6 years old and been used on several deployments and to drag my shit around the country it time for a replacement and I'm tired of supporting the Vietnamese. The TT bags aren't stiff enough IMO.
Almost forgot, given the two choices, I-Shot

I have both Blackhawk and I-Shot cases. I use the I-shot for my SBR (lives in the trunk of my car along with my plate carrier and helmet). I use the Blackhawk case for my Airsoft gun.
Helmie designed his cases with a little extra room all around. My vote goes for the I-Shot case as well.
i-SHOT is all I use. gotm4 and I know Helmie personally. He has the highest standards for the quality and usefulness of his products. Plus, he is a great guy.

I-Shot cases are made in Vietnam...
The TCCs are currently made in Vietnam.(1/16/2007)
