I have an old Remington 870 and was considering sending it to Wilson Combat.

Has anyone had this done to their 870 and if so how did it turn out?

Thanks
What exactly will they do to it and at what price? What does the gun need done to it or what do you want done to it?

This topic comes up seemingly every 2 or 3 months on this forum, use the search feature for details.

General consensus is it's not worth the money for what they do.

The point of the deal is to take any shotgun reguardless of condition and bring it back to spec. Ive seen interviews where they talk about guns missing parts and some extremely worn out, to the point where they are not safe to fire, and they take them and bring it back up to factory specs with new parts.

If its a new shotgun, not worth it.
If its older then you are and looks like you ran over it with a tank, worth it.

As another option, J.D. McGuire at AI&P Tactical is highly regarded for his work on Remintoin shotguns as well. With Wilson, a lot of yhat you pay for is the brand name.

I have one and really like it. It is totally refurbished plus the action came back incredibly smooth. Certainly gave it a new lease on life.
