I just picked up an EOTech EXPS2 for my Colt carbine - standard fixed FSB, Troy fixed rear BUIS. When I look through the EOTech's window, the FSB looks slightly canted to one side, maybe one degree, relative to the bottom edge of the EOTech's window. It doesn't affect functionality, it's just a little annoying. Since the irons and the EOTech are independent sighting systems, this shouldn't matter, but is this common?

It's not unknown for a FSB to be canted, though not common.

From a practical standpoint, lots of folks don't like how a canted FSB will make it so that they have to run their rear windage further to one side or the other than what they'd prefer. That's a whole 'nother world from saying that the rifle doesn't shoot well or can't be zeroed. If it zeros and prints reliably, it becomes merely a cosmetic issue, of sorts.

It ends up being a coin-toss on your part as to whether to getting the FSB righted.
