Nice. I've never heard of the stock, give us some details.

The stock is made by Accurate Armory in Lexington, KY. They make and sell just about every part of the rifle and offer several complete rifles. I plan on swapping out my lower with one of theirs. Nothing wrong with the one I have, but theirs are of a higher quality IMO, and I like the idea of having Lexington, KY on the side of my lower...lol.

The stock comes of course in commercial and milspec and I think is available in three colors. Its almost like a hybrid Magpul/SOPMOD in its design. Very comfortable, plenty of cheek weld and is tight to the buffer tube. It runs about $90 I think, which is a hell of a price for a quality piece. The guys over at Accurate Armory are working on getting their online site/store up, but you can find the stock under tactical intent.

Lol...it will get there eventually, but so far it shoots great...even with cheap Wolf ammo

How about some info on the 1911?

The 1911 will be getting it's own thread in the proper section eventually. It started life as a plain RIA 1911-A1 Government 5". I added a pair of Ed Brown Cocobolo checkered grips, an arched mainspring housing and different sights, which are about to be swapped out for a set of Novaks. All the stainless parts came from a friend's kimber that he is going full custom on. Then I added a Wilson Combat stainless mag well.

I have a new lower on the way for this. Getting an Accurate Armory lower (made just an hour away in Lexington) into which will go an MOE LPK from Palmetto State Armory. I'll swap over the buffer tube/stock and BAD lever. This lower will then be set aside for now. I'll either sell it or start another build eventually depending on money.

Do you like the AFG that far back? I tried it on an M&P 15-22 and it drove me nuts being that close to the receiver.

for me its very comfortable right there. I see a lot of people who put them way out at the end of the rail, but for me closer in feels better.

Little update. Changed out my Sharps lower for a local one from Accurate Armory and got an LPK from them. The fit with the upper is MUCH tighter with basically no slop or wobble. The trigger feels more crisp as well and it seems to have a more positive reset.

The build sheet as of now:

Accurate Armory Lower
Accurate Armory LPK
BCM Upper
BCM BCG
BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle
Magpul MOE Grip
Magpul MOE Trigger Guard
Magpul AFG
Magpul B.A.D. Lever
Magpul MBUIS
Magpul PMAGs
VLTOR End Plate
VLTOR Low Pro Gas Block
DPMS Buffer Tube/Spring
Tactical Intent TI-7 Stock
Zombie Hunter Dust Cover
DEZ Eliminator Fluted HBAR Barrel
Vortex Flash Hider
Troy TRX Extreme Battle Rail
Elzetta ZORM Light Mount
Solarforce L2 Light
Blackhawk Single Point Sling
Palmetto State H2 Buffer
Eotech 512

I also have a Noveske TRX QD adapter plate on the way and will be switching to a 2 point sling and as soon as I get my taxes, the china made light will be swapped out for an Elzetta made here in KY.

Just a quick update. I'm up to about 600 failure free rounds (mostly wolf) since the last cleaning. Taking it to at least 1K before cleaning it again.

and an updated pic

How often do you use your light? You may want to consider spending money on a something that is rated for weapon use if it's something you intend on using. If it's just a plinker then the solarforce is fine.

It looks like he has already made the move to Elzetta. I could be wrong but that is what I think I see in his most recent pictures.

The solarforce actually never had any issues while on the rifle, but as said above, it has been replaced by an elzetta. Just forgot to update my spec list in the original post.

also the AFG has gone in favor of an RVG.

Went to a big group shoot for a local forum over the weekend and put 360 more rounds through this rifle. That puts me at just over 1300 since it was last cleaned, with about 1200 of that being 55gr wolf. No cleaning has been done at all, just some lube before each range session. Saturday was a very hot day and I did several mag dumps.

Somewhere around the 950 round count I had one wolf round fail to eject. Dropped the mag, worked the action and it came free. I also had one fail to feed from a freash mag, but i think i limp wristed the charging handle on that one and didnt pull it back all the way. Same mag and rounds fed fine once i cleared it. No more issues the rest of the day. Those were the only stoppages in the entire 1300+ rounds.

She's looking pretty nasty inside now, although not as bad as I would have thought. At some point this week I'll be breaking it down for a thorough cleaning. I'll probably grab some shots of the action before hand.

Very nice. The whole thing came together rather well..

Thanks. I don't think I could be much happier about the end result. It came out a bit on the heavy side, but the next one will be an SBR and should take care of that.
