I was doing my annual physical and among other things they found that my lead levels were, "getting a bit high and that may not be good."
Ignoring the fact that the doc was about as non-committal as she could be, does anyone else,
1) Get their lead levels checked annually? Especially high volume shooters.
and
2) Had this come as as an issue for them?
and
3) Does anyone know of natural supplement that works to help remove heavy metals from the blood.
I am a high volume shooter and I am around a high volume of shooting, but 95%+ is outdoors.
I'm not ready for Chelation Therapy yet, since my levels were only at 16 micrograms/dL of lead in my blood and anything below 20 is considered normal. It's a bit confusing since the information I found lists 60 as the point of poisoning.
Can anyone help me lay out this bag of snakes? Is there something to worry about here, or is the Doc a bit, "under-informed?"
