AR-15 barrel nut dimensions?

Im looking to make my own barrel nut wrench, but for some reason I cant find the specs on a wrench or even the actual dimensions for the barrel nut either. Maybe Im not looking far or hard enough, but other than the fact that a standard barrel nut has 20 teeth or slots I cant find any dimensions. Realistically I could just buy one for less hassle, but I enjoy making tools like that.

If anybody on here has a link to any info it would be much appreciated

Sorry I got nothing. You may want to try Biggerhammer.net there may be some spec sizes.

Thanks anyway man, but most of whats on that site and most other sites is lower receiver stuff. I might just go ahead and try to mic my barrel nut and just make one off of that and adjust as needed
