Hello everyone, my name is Dan I live in NE Ohio, USA and I am a new member. I pucrchased my first AR-15, a S&W M&P .223. I'm trying to learn the basics and would appreciate any and all advice.

Wrong section, but it's all good. Read the stickied posts and knowledge based threads before jumping the gun and asking a million questions. S&W makes a pretty decent rifle. NE Ohio here, too... columbiana county. Lemme know and we'll meet up and shoot sometime.

Welcome Dan. I think you've come to the right place. Congratulations on you're new AR, now go and shoot the snot out of it!
