Dissy= dissipator. Looking for a pic of a 13" version... if it's possible (which I think it is).

Are you talking of having a fixed front sight forward of the 13" battlerail?

You can use a low profile gas block -- either a carbine- or midlength-gas(sed) barrel, under the handguard. The critical item is the barrel diameter forward of the gas port(block). It usually steps down a bit. You would either need a .625" fixed sight enlarged to whatever diameter is it (or re-profiling the barrel to .625); and then have it drilled and pinned. This would be easy with a gunsmith that knows what you want.

Doable, but a bit expensive. Is this just for the looks?

And Im sure you know, but an HBAR build would probably be easier. But apart from the longer sight radius.. Why?
