Castle Nut...

I just looked at a friend's Bushmaster carbine and noticed it doesn't have notches in the castle nut to allow staking.What do I need to know when purchasing a castle nut re: mil spec vs. non-mil spec tube,thread sizes,etc? Thanks in advance.tom.

They are all the same size regardless if the tube is mil spec or not.




Brownells has Colt parts which are top notch otherwise Id get one from BCM.
