Can anyone tell me if $550 is regarded as a good deal for a Gen4 G19 with NS?

I seem to recall blue label prices being a better deal.

Thx

You're military, right? Find your distributor for your area and purchase from him. You'll save about $100 and get three magazines. Unless Glock raised their prices significantly (within the past 6 months) my Gen 3 Glock 19s were $400-ish and included 3 magazines. I'd think twice on a Gen 4 if I couldn't get the same price as a Gen 3/RTF.

Night sights do not add $150 to the LEO/Mil price.

Military yes. I'll try and track down the local distributer on Tuesday and see if that turns anything up.

At a glance, $550 seemed a little on the high side, so I wanted to get a 2nd opinion.

I wouldn't want those night sights. Not a good deal for mediocre sights.

Too high IMO. I always get mine with the fixed sights as they are the first thing changed out and thrown in the trash.

Low $400's should be about right for LE/Mil.

Glock's night sights add 80 dollars.

IIRC, the blue label glocks are specifically for mil/LEO/EMS/FD personell only. A dealer can get into trouble if they sell them to anyone but those listed, that's what I was told when I bought my Gen 4 G19 blue label for $425.

That is correct. I think though that it's more for Glock's inventory control and market place figures than anything from what I've been told.

Blue labels here are $399 plus tax for either a Gen 3 or 4.

Since the OP has his creds I would advise getting one w/o the night sights and the premium cost of them and use those dollars towards some real sights that are consistent to what he currently uses on his others.

Sounds high to me. I have a Glock Discount Pricing Order form and it shows Gen4 19s with Glock Night sights are $455.70 and Trijicon night sights are $477.40. I think these might be old prices because the standard sight G19s are still priced at $398.20 and now they are $425. If you want the order form, PM me. I suggest you contact Ed's Public Safety to confirm the latest blue label prices.

Yeah, if these are the plastic glock night sights I would pass, get a non night sight version and add aftermarket metal ones.

The store I was at had a blue label G19 with trijicon NS, and 3 mags, OTD price of $550

I'll call around monday and see what's what at other LEO/MIL dealers to get a reference point.

Let me know if there is a shop you recommend.

Low 400's is reasonable. Last g23 gen 3 I picked up was 379.00, of course I think I got a hook up from my dealer since I steered a bit of business his way.

$425 is what I paid for a blue label no night sights Gen 4 G19 in early Dec. here in Al.

Thats what I was quoted last Thursday at a local shop (same gun). Not sure if that was with tax or not.

Blue Label guns are reserved for LEO/FIRE/EMS/Security Guards/MIL etc..

A member of GSSF can also purchase blue label guns from a Glock Distributor that participates in the GSSF program. LEO (and all the others listed above) get slightly cheaper pricing than GSSF and a GSSF member can only purchase one GLOCK per year at the discount.

With Gen 3 guns, Blue Label GLOCKS come with three magazine, with the exception of Sub-compacts, which only come with two.

ALL Gen 4 guns, Blue Label or not come with 3 magazines.

$550.00 is too much and I agree with those that said you should get standard sights and replace them with after-market sights. My preference is for Ameriglos.

You probably shouldn't pay more than $500 with night sights for a blue label. That might even be high.

In Nov. i bought a Blue Label G21sf rtf2 from Ed's and the LEO Glock Night sights installed was $57. They are tennifer coated as the gun i never heard of plastic night sights. I will buy all my Glock's from Ed's Public Safety. The price the OP states seems high to me.

It is my understanding that there are master LE dealers who get direct from Glock and there are standard LE dealers who get inventory from a master dealer. Master dealer standard pricing is $398, same as if an LEO purchased direct from Glock. Standard dealers are $425 for a basic model.

Here is the master dealer price list which is the same if an LEO goes direct from Glock.

$452.00Just curious where are these prices from? As far as I know the Ed's pricing is the most current. Below is the most current order form with pricing when ordered direct from Glock (Gen4 pricing listed). As far as I know the GSSF pricing is also the $425 for base models which is slightly higher the Master Glock dealers LE pricing.

That is agency or departmental pricing with qualifying Fed excise tax exemption. Individual Officer pricing starts at $398.00. The pricing list above is copied from Ed's catalog page 11 for individual Officer pricing, which is standard Glock master dealer pricing.

dang, thanks for the up. I certainly didn't pick-up on agency|departmental pricing. That is why this forum is awesome.

Again thanks for the corrected azimuth.

$423 after tax for my fixed sight Gen4 G17, with my Mil discount of course. Like others have said, look for a Glock dealer near you. They will hook you up.

bought my gen 4 26 from eds, 425 gun, 15 shipped, 35 gssf fee = paid 475, if you military or leo, would be 35 less, and my ffl charges 20, so out the door, i paid 495 if you buy night sights from them, they install at no charge, they have factory, trijicon or ameriglo if i remember correctly....
